In April 2015, our company participated in the Canton Fair in the spring.
The China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair for short), founded on April 25, 1957, is held in Guangzhou every spring and autumn. It is jointly hosted by The Ministry of Commerce and The People’s Government of Guangdong Province, and undertaken by China Foreign Trade Center.It is a comprehensive international trade event with the longest history, the highest level, the largest scale, the most complete product category, the largest number of buyers, the widest distribution of countries and regions, and the best transaction effect in China, and is known as “The First exhibition in China” [1-3].
The Canton Fair is mainly for export trade, but also for import business. It can also carry out various forms of economic and technical cooperation and exchange, as well as commodity inspection, insurance, transportation, advertising, consulting and other business activities.The Canton Fair Exhibition hall is located in Pazhou Island, Guangzhou, with a total construction area of 1.1 million square meters, with an indoor exhibition area of 338,000 square meters and an outdoor exhibition area of 43,600 square meters.The fourth phase of the Canton Fair Exhibition Hall will be put into use in the 132nd Canton Fair (autumn 2022). After completion, the Exhibition hall will have a total exhibition area of 620,000 square meters, making it the largest exhibition complex in the world.Among them, the indoor exhibition area is 504,000 square meters and the outdoor exhibition area is 116,000 square meters.
The Canton Fair was launched on April 15, 2015, with a total exhibition area of 1.18 million square meters, 60,228 booths and 24,713 domestic and foreign exhibitors.More than 90% of the enterprises participating in the last Canton Fair continue to apply for the 117th Canton Fair.
